Who Am I?

As far as the eye can see I am a black male, but I'm also much more. 

I am a husband

father

son

brother

friend

teacher

Christian 

and the list could go on. 

I'm originally from Douglas, Georgia. 

As you can see it's not in Metro Atlanta, so it's not Douglas County. It's Coffee County. 

Ironically enough I do now live in Douglas County which is in Metro Atlanta 😂

I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Middle Grades Education with an emphasis on Language Arts and Social Studies. 

I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2020 with a Masters of Education in Middle Grades Education with an emphasis on Social Studies. 

As stated above I am a husband and a father to one. 

I have taught in the Middle School setting since 2016 with most of those years being in a Social Studies classroom. 

My family and I are members at Elizabeth Baptist Church, Atlanta. 

I enjoy reading and watching anything that is history related. (Among other things)

Get me together with close friends and family and I'm ready to cut up. Good food, good drinks, and good fellowship definitely makes for a good time. 

I am constantly evolving as a human being and the season of Covid has given me the opportunity to spread myself out some more. Hence this blog, me exercising a little more, and other things. 

So that's a little about me in somewhat of a nutshell.
